Things I want to always remember...

I love being a mom! Lately I feel like the days are flying by and I wish time would slow down. I never want to forget...

1. The smell of my childrens hair after bath.

2. The feel of their little hands in mine.

3. The way my dd calls our dog, "Nernie" when his name is Bernie.

4. The "car" sounds my son makes while laying on his belly playing with his cars and trucks.

5. My childrens small soft feet.

6. The way they argue saying, "My mommy", "No, she is MY mommy!". Then one ends up crying!

7. The gentle way my ds asks my dd if she wants to hold hands.

8. When I wake up to a little face next to the bed asking if they can sleep in our bed.

9. The way their eyes light up when they smile.

10. Feeling like a hero when only Mommy's kiss can heal the boo boo.

Shopping Cart Covers

My dad came to visit for the past couple weeks and it was wonderful. I really enjoyed spending time with him and watching him play with my children was even better. My kids LOVE their Pop Pop.

I am going to plug the shopping cart covers in our store. Let me tell ya why! We were out a lot this week...different stores, different restaurants, etc... I usually am very careful about bringing the shopping cart cover with us into every store. It also fits on highchairs so it comes with us into restaurants too. I admit I forgot it a couple of times this past week and now my daughter has a cold!! I am kicking myself. Would she have a cold if I had used it everytime...who knows...but the fact is she is sick and my son is not. Soooo makes me think it has something to do with all the germs on those carts and highchairs...Yuck!

Happy Father's Day

I am spending Father's Day with my dad this year! That is a big deal because we do not live in the same state and we have not been together on Father's Day in over 10 years!!!! The kids love having their Grandpa here too!!!!
