Happy Birthday Princess

My little girls birthday is today. I cannot believe she is already 2. We are taking one of her friends to Build a Bear this morning so they can each pick out a stuffed animal to make. My son is coming with us but he has never really been into stuffed animals (even though he is only 3...almost 4). I hope that he will pick one out and enjoy it. There are lots of other things to do at this mall so he will have a good day too.

We are having a party for her on the weekend but today is her day so we are going to make it special.

Happy Birthday Pillow

My daughters birthday is coming up. I cannot believe how fast these little ones grow!! This is an adorable Happy Birthday pillow we carry in our store. Handpainted and personalized. Sooo cute! These make a great gift!

This is another one I really like. My daughter loves turtles. She loves all animals and it is adorable.

There are so many cute designs to choose from. We also carry the matching wall art. I love these!

My Space

I am on My Space! I set up a page for our boutique and my own interest! I have no idea what I am doing or how to have a my space page so this should be interesting!! LOL I have already found some interesting websites just from looking around. I need to figure out how to put a link to our store on there. I would also like to put some fun things up there as well. My page needs some help! :)

Boo Boo's

First of all I have to confess...I let my children run inside the house. Well, I did. That is until the other night. My children were running in the circle around the bottom floor of our house and my son bumped into my daughter. She fell against the wall and just happened to hit her head on the corner of the chair rail. OUCH!

She cried for about 10 mins and then seemed ok. I brought her upstairs to get her pj's on and when her hair fell away from her forehead it took my breath away. She had a HUGE goose egg on top of her head. There was a big red line of blood where it came to the surface. If she had hit just a tiny bit harder I think we would have been in the ER for stitches. It was terrible!!

Poor little thing. I kept going in her room just to check on her and kiss her head.

No more running in the house!

Fall Clothes

We just received our first shipment of fall clothing! Fall clothes already! It was 96 degrees and humid here yesterday, probably the same all week, so fall clothes are hard to even think about! :)

I will be adding these to our store this week. Time to start thinking about back to school shopping!

I hope you all had a wonderful 4th of July!! It was nice to have my husband home in the middle of the week.

Staying at home can make some weeks seem very long. I am looking for some new fun ideas to do with the kids this summer. Keep in mind they are toddler and preschool age. The heat here can be brutal so there are some days we cannot stay outside for very long. We bought a wonderful house last summer with one downfall....there are only 2 small new trees in the yard. No shade!!

I thought of painting with spray bottles. Put water and food coloring in the spray bottles and let them go on a white sheet. I also read that if you put a small amount of paint mixed with water that would work as well. I have never tried this so if you have and it was good/bad, let me know.

Shaving cream in our sand/water table. Maybe put a little food coloring in there as well.

Homemade playdough which my kids did not seem to thrilled about at a party we went to.

We washed the car one hot day.

50th Anniversary

Today is my in-laws 50th Wedding Anniversary party.

50 years!!!

WOW! That is just amazing. To celebrate 50 years of marriage these days is such a blessing. We are off to celebrate them today.
